SDRF RESCUES MAN TRAPPED BY RUDRAPRAYAG RIVER OVERFLOW

A team of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) in Uttarakhand successfully rescued a man who was trapped by the overflow of the Rudraprayag River on June 16, 2023.

The man, who has not been identified, was reportedly walking along the riverbank when he was swept away by the strong currents. He was able to cling to a rock for several hours before the SDRF team arrived.

The SDRF team used ropes and life jackets to rescue the man and bring him to safety. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but he is said to be in stable condition.
