Rudraprayag: The sacred town of Kedarnath, once echoing with chants and long queues of devotees waiting for a glimpse of Baba Kedar, now lies silent. Continuous rainfall has severely impacted the Kedarnath Yatra, keeping pilgrims away from the revered shrine.

VO 1: The Kedarnath pilgrimage is facing harsh weather conditions. Just days ago, thousands of pilgrims were flocking to the shrine, filling the premises with spiritual energy. Today, the temple courtyard appears deserted, with only a handful of devotees making it to Baba Kedar’s darbar. Inclement weather over the past week has halted the movement of pilgrims. Those still attempting the journey are facing numerous challenges, including landslides and slippery paths along the trekking route. Despite these hurdles, over 13 lakh devotees have already had Baba Kedar’s darshan this season.
