SOFTWARE ENGINEER AND WIFE COMMIT SUICIDE AFTER KILLING THEIR TWO CHILDREN IN BENGALURU

A tragic incident of sororicide and suicide of an IT couple in Bengaluru

A software engineer and his wife committed suicide after killing their two children in Bengaluru on Saturday. The couple, identified as Manoj Kumar (35) and Jyothi (30), were residents of Whitefield. They had two children, a son aged 6 and a daughter aged 4.


The police said that Manoj was working as a software engineer in a private company in Bengaluru. He was under a lot of stress due to work and financial problems. Jyothi was a homemaker.


On Saturday, Manoj and Jyothi killed their children by smothering them with a pillow. They then hanged themselves from the ceiling fan in their bedroom. The police were alerted by a neighbour who saw the couple hanging from the fan.


The police have registered a case of double murder and suicide. They are investigating the matter.This is a tragic incident and our hearts go out to the family of the victims. We hope that the police will be able to find out the reason behind the suicide and take appropriate action.
