Standing at the border, PM condemns the Air Force's courage

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a strong message to the nationmen from the Adampur Air Force Base on the Punjab border. He did not merely stop with applauding the valor and sacrifice of the troops, but in doing so also gave a very strong warning to the neighboring country of Pakistan - today's India is far braver, disciplined and hungry for retribution than it used to be. The Prime Minister said, "Now India is a country that can wipe out the enemy within our own country. Our approach towards terrorism is zero tolerance."

Modi clarified that the only discussion possible with Pakistan is about eradicating terrorism and getting back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). There is no discussion needed beyond this. The Prime Minister stated, "We have drawn a 'Lakshman Rekha'. India will give a befitting reply to those who try to violate that line."

Pakistan had just bragged that it had downed India's advanced S-400 missile defense system. In denial of this brag, the Prime Minister himself took a photo with the weapon standing beside it and discredited the propaganda. By proving the defense prowess of the nation, he actually conveyed the message to Pakistan - "India's morale cannot be shaken by fake propaganda. India now knows its own strength and knows how to deploy it if necessary."

Prime Minister Modi also mentioned 'Operation Sindoor' in his address. By conducting the operation, India has proved that it is not merely a defensive policy, but it is also capable of attacking and eliminating the enemy if the situation demands so.

Modi's words to the Air Force staff were moving. He stated, "You patrol the skies of the country each day. It is due to your courage and sacrifice that we can rest soundly. The people of India will be eternally grateful to you."

Although this visit is symbolic in nature, its importance runs to three broad domains - political, diplomatic and military. By winking at Pakistan and giving respect to the country's soldier bravery, Modi showed that India is no longer silent. The country is ready to reply with double strength if attacked. 'New India' will never surrender its security and dignity - this was the Prime Minister's clear message from the Adampur Air Force Base.
