"The site is facing issues due to some technical errors and our technical team is working to sort out these issues," said an IRCTC official.
"Alternatively tickets can be booked through other B2C players like Amazon, Makemytrip, etc," IRCTC official said.
Lakhs of passengers were facing issues on Tuesday morning while trying to book tickets through the app due to a technical glitch.
Meanwhile, helpline numbers for cancellation and file TDR have been announced. These are the numbers - 14646,0755-6610661 & 0755-4090600, or a mail could be sent to etickets@irctc.co.in.
IRCTC has resolved the booking issue on the website and app, that hampered ticket booking on July 25, 2023. "Booking issue has been resolved now. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted," mentioned IRCTC on Twitter.
