A tragic collision between two passenger buses in Buldhana, Maharashtra, claimed the lives of six people and injured 20 others on Saturday. The accident took place on National Highway 6 in the early hours of the morning, when the two buses collided head-on.

The buses were both traveling from Nagpur to Pune when they collided near the Malkapur railway bridge. The impact of the collision was so severe that both buses were completely mangled. The six people who were killed in the accident were all passengers on one of the buses. They included two women and four men. The 20 people who were injured were taken to a nearby hospital, where they are being treated for their injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but police believe that it may have been due to speeding. The drivers of both buses have been arrested and are being questioned by police. This is the second fatal bus accident to occur in Buldhana in recent months. In April, a bus carrying pilgrims from Nashik to Shirdi crashed, killing 13 people.

The government has ordered an inquiry into the latest accident, and has promised to take steps to improve road safety in the state. The accident has caused widespread shock and grief in Buldhana. The families of the victims have been offered financial assistance by the government, and counseling is being provided to the survivors.

The accident shows us the perils of road travel in India. Every year, thousands of people are killed in road accidents in the country. The government has taken some steps to improve road safety, but more needs to be done.
