In the wake of the gruesome April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed 26 lives, world leaders have come out in support of India, expressing condolences and guarantees of support in the war against terror.

US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance conveyed their strongest sympathies to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, condemning the attack and committing total support to make the attackers accountable. Senior members of Trump's cabinet, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and NSA Mike Waltz, also condemned the attack.

World leaders from across the globe, including UAE President Mohamed Bin Zayed, Australian PM Anthony Albanese, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian PM Giorgia Meloni, Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba, and UK PM Keir Starmer, called PM Modi to express their condolence and that their respective nations would be with India in the war against terror.

Neighboring countries also rallied with support. Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Nepali PM KP Sharma Oli, and Mauritius PM Navin Ramgoolam condemned the attack and stood together with India. PM Modi also sent condolences for the Nepali national who lost his life in the attack.

The Netherlands, Jordan, Egypt, and Iran's leaders—Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, King Abdullah II, President Abdel Fattah Elsisi, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian—also conveyed their denunciation of the violence and urged the need for joint international action against terror.

PM Modi thanked all global leaders for their show of solidarity and reaffirmed the country's commitment to bringing the perpetrators of the attack to justice.
