FC Goa won the 2025 Indian Super Cup title by dominating their final match against Jamshedpur FC with a 3-0 victory held at Kalinga Stadium. FC Goa is now the first team to claim the Super Cup twice and make history in Indian football.

The match's star was Borja Herrera, who scored two goals in the 23rd and 51st minutes. His performance on the field was excellent, and he was awarded the Player of the Match. Dejan Drazic scored the third goal in the 72nd minute, securing a convincing and comfortable victory for the team.

This win was particularly significant as it represented the culmination of FC Goa coach Manolo Márquez's tenure. He was given a befitting sendoff with his team winning the trophy in his last game.

During the tournament, Jamshedpur FC had demonstrated solid defense, but they were not able to cope with the pace and grip of FC Goa's attack in the final. Goa controlled the game right from the start and never gave Jamshedrup any chance to settle.

The game was watched by more than 7,000 spectators who shouted loudly in spite of the sweltering and humid weather. Their presence created an added level of excitement to the final encounter.

This victory also qualifies FC Goa for the qualifying round of the 2025–26 AFC Champions League Two, which allows them to play on the Asian platform again.

This Super Cup win is another big trophy in FC Goa's expanding trophy cabinet and demonstrates the team's strength and development. The players danced ecstatically with the trophy as fireworks illuminated the evening sky above the stadium.

The club now takes a confident look to the future, being proud of what it has achieved and looking forward to future challenges in Indian and global football.
