For the new CEO, Mr. Jay Shah stated that they evaluated many outstanding applicants for the CEO position but the Nominations Committee with one voice recommended Sanjog. In 2010, Sanjog started his career as a reporter and entered into Star India (now JioStar). Later he served in  various leadership roles throughout his career, including content, programming projects and strategy. In 2020, he became the Head of Sports at Disney and Star India, where he significantly contributed to expanding the Sports sector, which included multilingual coverage, digital-oriented, and emphasis on women's sports.

With his experience in global media and entertainment and sports ecosystems, he is looking forward to contributing to the new face of cricket’s evolution. And also targeting the thrilling times for the sport as major events gain recognition, business opportunities expand, and chances for the women's game rise in popularity.
