Rabada's Comeback on Cards? Titans Eye Big Boost Before MI Showdown

Kagiso Rabada will return for the Gujarat Titans in their make-or-break IPL 2025 game against Mumbai Indians after having been suspended for a month for testing positive for a party drug during the SA20 tournament. Gujarat Titans Director of Cricket Vikram Solanki assured in the pre-match press meet that Rabada is available again and welcomed him back for being honest and apologetic about the situation. 

Solanki added, "Tomorrow's game, he is fit… Kagiso has made a mistake of judgment. He's made a statement of significance… and he is eager to get back to playing the game that he loves"

Rabada has also practiced with the Titans at Wankhede Stadium ahead of the match, bowling with Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna, signaling his return to the team. After his suspension and participation in a treatment and education program ordered by the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport, Rabada can play immediately and should have an important role as Gujarat Titans go after a playoff spot. 

The team sits in fourth place on the standings, and Rabada's return is seen as a significant boost to their pace attack and general depth.
