When Cricket Met Centre Court: Virat, Anushka, and Rishabh Pant Light Up Wimbledon 2025

Celebrity sightings at Wimbledon are nothing new, and this year was no exception. At Wimbledon 2025, cricket stars stole some of the spotlight as Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, and Rishabh Pant were spotted among the crowd. Virat and Anushka were present for the Men's Round of 16 match between Novak Djokovic and Australia's Alex de Minaur. Rishabh Pant took a short break from the Test series and visited Wimbledon for a change.

This was Rishabh’s first time visiting Wimbledon. Sensational Rishabh wore a striped suit, white shirt and a tie and a pair of rimless spectacles. In an interview with Wimbledon, he said that in earlier times his favourite tennis player was Roger Federer and he used to love his backhand, which always inspired him but at the same time, Djokovic has been amazing. Nowadays, his two favourites are Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz and right now they are his all-time favourites. Pant also thinks that Nick Kyrgios has the charisma like him. Rishabh, because of Nick’s playing style and the way he enjoys his game, Nick Kyrgios was someone he truly enjoyed watching, which is something he always looked forward to. He also predicts that Alcaraz can win the championships. On the other hand, he thinks that Djokovic can replicate his famous shots.

Wimbledon 2025 once again proved to be more than just a tennis tournament; it was a celebration of sporting spirit, bringing together fans and icons from different arenas in a true show of admiration beyond boundaries.
