In "Kalam," directed by Om Raut, Dhanush will portray Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

The actor from Raanjhana posted the first look poster for his next movie, "Kalam," on Instagram. The biopic of former President and aeronautical scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was directed by Om Raut.


In his next movie, "Kalam: The Missile Man of India," Tamil actor Dhanush is going to portray Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The movie is a biography of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, a former president and aeronautical scientist. The Raanjhanaa actor shared the first-look poster with his fans and followers on Instagram to announce the news. Under the auspices of Abhishek Agarwal Arts and T-Series, Om Raut is the director of the movie "Kalam," which is also produced by Abhishek Agarwal, Anuk Sunkara, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.


This biopic's first look poster shows a man and the shadows of a rocket flying upwards, leaving a cloud of smoke in its wake. The caption read: "I feel truly blessed and deeply humbled to be portraying the life of such an inspirational and magnanimous leader — our very own Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam sir."


Since its publication, the Instagram post has received thousands of comments and lakhs of likes. Social media users quickly responded to this message by expressing how excited they were for the movie. 


"You are a legendary actor in the Indian film industry," one user said. The most anticipated Dhanush biopic, another person said, "Keep going, we want many more of you." A number of famous people liked the post, including Vaani Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. Sita Ramam actor Mrunal Thakur also left a comment, saying, "This is legendary, Sir!"


The film's director, Om Raut, also posted the biographical drama's poster to his X handle, writing, "A legend's journey begins from Rameswaram to Rashtrapati Bhavan. India's Missile Man will soon be released. Have lofty dreams. Ascend higher, #KALAM, India's Missile Man.


Regarding his career, Dhanush most recently starred in the action movie "Raayan" with Aparna Balamurali, Devadarshini Chetan, Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, and Divya Pillai. 'Kuberaa', a criminal drama film, will feature him next, with Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna Akkineni playing important roles.
